Guided imagery has been successfully used for decades by performance
and sports coaches. It has been proven repeatedly in many research
studies that this method promotes an amazing improvement in nearly any and

guided imagery interchangeably with visualization.
In reality, the differences are, visualization refers to seeing or
visualizing something in your imagination whereas guided imagery tends to
include all the senses: hearing, seeing, touching, tasting, and smelling.
